Chianti Classico Panzanello is a fresh wine, with a well-balanced body and an elegant character, which embodies the aromas of Sangiovese that recall the charm of the Tuscan land.

To preserve the aromas, fragrances and structure that enhance its intrinsic qualities, Chianti Classico is not filtered.

Grapes

Panzanello Chianti Classico is produced with 100% Sangiovese, selected from the best vineyards of the estate. The terroir of Panzanello enhances the typicality of the grape variety, giving an authentic and expressive wine, characterized by freshness, balance and an elegance typical of Chianti Classico DOCG.

Maceration Time

The grapes macerate for 15 days in stainless steel vats, favoring the extraction of color, tannins and aromas without superstructures. This process allows to obtain a fresh and dynamic Chianti Classico, with soft tannins and great drinkability.

Winemaking and Refinement

After fermentation, 100% is aged in steel for a minimum of 8 months, to preserve the vivacity of the fruit, which gives the wine greater depth without overpowering the varietal characteristics. This is followed by a further 4-6 months of refinement in the bottle.

Organoleptic Characteristics

The color is bright ruby ​​red, clear and luminous. The bouquet opens with ripe cherry, violet and light notes of aromatic herbs, accompanied by a delicate spicy touch. The sip is balanced and smooth, with good freshness and fine tannins that give a pleasant structure.

Alcohol Content and Structure

With around 13.5% alcohol, this Chianti Classico has a medium body and extraordinary drinkability. The natural acidity of Sangiovese gives freshness and energy, making it a versatile wine capable of evolving for several years without losing its harmony.

Service and Temperature

It is recommended to serve at 16-18°C, uncorking the bottle 30 minutes before tasting. A tulip glass allows to concentrate the aromas and enhance the aromatic finesse of the wine, enhancing its freshness and fruity component.

Food Pairings

Perfect with Tuscan first courses, white meats and fresh cheeses, it pairs well with pasta with ragù, pici all'aglione and platters of cured meats and pecorino. Its acidity also makes it excellent with roast chicken and grilled vegetables, offering an ideal balance between flavor and softness.
