Which wines can be tasted during the Tasting of Wines and Oils of Our Production?
The Wine and Oil Tasting allows you to savor 3 selected wines from our production, including the Panzanello Chianti Classico produced with 100% Sangiovese, the 1427 Chianti Classico with its scent of fresh cherry and violet, and depending on the season you could taste our Error 404 Rosato or the Goccia BRUT bubbles. For those looking for a more structured experience, we recommend the Tour and Wine Tasting which also includes a guided tour of the cellar, or for true enthusiasts the Gran Tagliere with Tasting .
Can I purchase wines after the Wine and Oil Tasting?
Of course! After the Tasting of Wines and Oils of Our Production , you can directly purchase the bottles you have appreciated. In addition to the wines tasted, you can discover the entire range of the Panzanello collection , including the prized Chianti Classico Riserva 1427 aged 18 months in barrique, or the Manuzio Supertuscan , a pure Merlot with an enveloping structure. For those interested in organic wines , the Panzanello estate has been practicing organic farming since 1998. Furthermore, by participating in our Raccolta Tappi program , every euro spent becomes a "tappo" that brings you closer to a free stay at our farmhouse.
What is the difference between the Wine and Oil Tasting and the other experiences offered?
The Tasting of Wines and Oil of Our Production is the most accessible and short experience, ideal for those who have little time but still want to discover the authentic flavors of Chianti Classico. With a duration of about 1 hour and a cost of only €10 per person, it includes 3 wines and bruschetta with Inis Extra Virgin Olive Oil. For more complete experiences, we offer the Gran Tagliere Toscano at €55 which adds local cured meats and cheeses, the Complete Lunch at €85 with a 4-course menu, or the Cooking Class at €180 to learn how to prepare an authentic Tuscan lunch. Guests of our agriturismo receive a special discount on all tastings.
What type of oil is served during the Wine and Oil Tasting?
During the Wine and Oil Tasting we serve exclusively Inis Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced in our olive groves, following organic cultivation methods practiced by the Sommaruga family since 1998. This oil, characterized by a balanced taste with a light spicy aftertaste, is served on bruschetta of freshly toasted Tuscan bread, allowing you to fully appreciate its organoleptic qualities. The oil is available for purchase in 500ml bottles or 5L cans, perfect as a wine gift together with our Tuscan red wines . Those who wish to discover more wines paired with local products can opt for themore complete tastings offered in the cellar.

The tasting takes place from 10:30 to 18:00, from Monday to Saturday, allowing you to choose the most convenient time. During the visit, in addition to tasting our wines and oil, you can discover the history of the Tenuta Panzanello , founded in 1427 and acquired by the Sommaruga family in 1964. For those who want a special memory, the limited edition Giubileo 2025 is also available (about 3000 bottles), a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with fruity notes of cherry.

Andrea dedicates himself with care to the cultivation of the vineyards and the production of wines of unique character, while Ioletta, who moved from Rome, takes care of hospitality and relations with visitors from all over the world.
Each bottle reflects their attention to quality and the desire to create an authentic experience for those who savor it.
